Operation SAFE PASSAGE
Help for U.S. Citizens and allies seeking to evacuate
LEBANON, ISRAEL, AND SURROUNDING AREAS

TAMPA, Fla. [August 5, 2024] — Grey Bull Rescue, a veteran-led nonprofit renowned for its high-risk international rescue missions, has launched Operation: SAFE PASSAGE, and deployed its field operations team to rescue and evacuate American Citizens, LPRs, and Allies from Lebanon, Israel, and surrounding countries in response to the rapidly intensifying regional instability, deteriorating security situation in the Middle East, and dramatic increased risk of war between Israel, Iran, and its proxies.  With the security situation escalating by the hour, the Grey Bull Rescue team, led by Bryan Stern, has deployed and arrived in Beirut to conduct urgent evacuation and rescue operations as commercial means close and the U.S. Embassy has warned of imminent conflict where Americans may not be able to be supported.

Grey Bull Rescue’s team is strategically and tactically positioned to carry out these critical rescues in what is expected to be an extremely hostile and dangerous environment. Stern and his team deployed to Lebanon earlier this month ahead of the escalation, to prepare and set conditions for operations in anticipation that violence would increase. Capitalizing on the experience gained from over 600 rescue missions all over the world, the operations team established the necessary infrastructure for large scale and surgical ground, sea, and air rescue missions to evacuate Americans from the pending war zone. The team is boots on ground in Lebanon and Israel, and has staging areas in neighboring countries outside of the conflict zone.

Any American, lawful permanent resident (LPR), or allied citizen in need of evacuation from Lebanon or Israel is encouraged to register on Grey Bull Rescue’s website and click the “Request Help” button. The Grey Bull Rescue Field Operations Team and Case Management Crisis Team are ready, resourced, and postured to assist.

“The current situation in the Middle East is bad and getting worse. Should the situation continue to escalate, things will spiral into chaos quickly putting civilians at risk and stuck in Lebanon and Israel without options,” said Bryan Stern, Chairman and Founder of Grey Bull Rescue. “We strongly urge all Americans in the region to heed the U.S. Department of State’s advice to leave now through any means possible. Officials are being very clear that the U.S. government cannot guarantee citizens safety and will likely be unable to come to their rescue.  However, if you cannot get out, find yourself stuck, and you or a loved one need evacuation, please contact us immediately through our website and stay informed via our regular updates. Grey Bull Rescue’s commitment is unwavering – we do not leave our people behind, no matter where they are or how dangerous the situation. My team and I always operate at the Speed of Need.”

In addition to its specialized and highly experienced Field Operations Teams, Grey Bull Rescue has a team of dedicated volunteers and case managers who are working around the clock to respond to critical requests for help from American families in crisis. Grey Bull is entirely donor-funded, and every contribution directly supports these life-saving missions, ensuring that those in the most perilous situations receive the urgent assistance they need where the U.S. Government cannot assist.

“We could not do the work we do, meaning save the lives we save, without our huge team of dedicated volunteers and experienced case managers who tirelessly coordinate communications, facilitate movement, provide essential resources and offer emotional support to families waiting to hear that their loved ones have been rescued safely by our operations team,” said Stern. “In addition, none of this would be possible without the generosity of our donors combined with the leadership of our esteemed board of special operations Admirals, Generals, and Senior NCOs. It’s often said that the only thing necessary for evil to triumph in this world is for good men to do nothing. Well, our volunteers, case managers, ops team, integrated board, and especially our donors are the Patriots who refuse to stand by and be spectators. Their dedication and compassion are what make these rescue missions possible, and we are incredibly grateful for their support and the thousands of lives saved.”
