Kohovka Dam
Rapid Response Amidst Crisis: Humanitarian Aid at the Kohovka Dam
Our team sprang into action after the Kohovka Dam disaster, where massive flooding forced thousands to flee their homes. With accusations flying between Moscow and Kyiv over the dam’s destruction, the situation was dire as nearly 100 villages and towns faced inundation. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called it a “Russian terrorist attack,” highlighting the severity of the crisis. Despite the peril and reports of Russian forces targeting rescuers, our team courageously entered the flooded zones, delivering critical aid and ensuring the safety of affected residents who were cut off from accessing essential supplies. Our swift and determined response exemplifies our commitment to saving lives and alleviating suffering in the most challenging circumstances.
