Experience & Education
In September 2021, Andy and his team resonated with a profound “call to action” when the U.S. military unexpectedly withdrew its forces from Afghanistan. They promptly aligned themselves with a global “grey space” initiative, a movement comprised of operational professionals who banded together to aid in the evacuation of abandoned Americans and Afghan allies. Throughout this crisis and beyond, Andy’s consistent networking led him to establish a strong connection with Bryan Stern from Project DYNAMO. In 2023, Andy took his commitment a step further by joining their Board of Advisors. Project DYNAMO stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and compassion. It’s a veteran-led, donor-supported international non-profit organization, recognized under section 501(c)(3). The organization is committed to search, rescue, aid, and assistance efforts, advocating for those in need across the globe. Elected to a director role standing up the Tampa Satellite Chapter of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), Andy served in the position from 2017-2021. He is an active member of various local Tampa organizations including the CEO Council of Tampa Bay, National Defense Industry Association – Tampa Chapter, and the Florida Defense Contractor Association and recently served as the Co-Chair of the Military Council for The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce.
